 So what else do you call a place that has been the weekend home to the bluecollar southerner for decades? Matter of fact, Ole Blackbeard himself, it's said, waded ashore here and declared "Let's Party!" The first Hotel was built over a hunnert years ago. The Seaside Inn looks like a dang barn, for cryin' out loud! Obviously meant fer rednecks. Nowadays there's million doller condas lined up all over the place and yankee folk broiling themselves on the white sand, but deep down we're still the Redneck Riviera. |
